watchOS 10 has added a number of new features to the already amazing Apple Watch. And one of the features that stands out above all others is the reintroduction of app widgets. While widgets were previously limited to watch faces, the watchOS 10 update now allows Apple Watch users to add widgets complete with their favorite apps and access them with a tap. Read on to find out how to add widgets to your Apple Watch in watchOS 10.
Widgets are a great way to unleash the full potential of your Apple Watch, providing quick and easy access to the information you need throughout your day. For example, you can add a weather widget to display up-to-date information on current conditions or a calendar widget to keep track of upcoming events.
By default, the weather, compass, activity, and workout app widgets come pre-installed when you upgrade your Apple Watch to watchOS 10. You can easily remove them and add your favorite widgets. Below, we’ve detailed how to remove and add widgets to your Apple Watch:
1. Unlock your Apple Watch.
2. So, Scroll up from the bottom edge to view the app widgets. Alternatively, you can turn the Digital Crown clockwise to access the widgets.
3. Now, long press on any of the pinned widgets.
4. First, you will need to remove a locked widget in order to add a new one. To remove a widget, tap the button in the top left corner of the widget.
5. When done, tap the+button in the center to add a widget.
6. Now tap on an app you want to add a widget for from the suggestion list.
