All Announced at Ubisoft Forward June 2023 | Digital Trends

The summer of games continued on Monday with Ubisoft’s dedicated showcase. Ubisoft Forward has split the publisher’s upcoming slate into an 80-minute main show and a 15-minute light preshow. There were no surprises, but we did get an in-depth look at some previously announced games. There have been gameplay and story reveals for Avatar: Pandora’s Frontiers, The Crew MotorfestAND Mirage from Assassin’s Creedwhich was already teased. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown AND Star Wars: Outlaws they were both announced a few days earlier and also got some deeper dives during the showcase.

When it comes to Assassin’s Creed franchise, we’ve seen a few uncut ones Mirage gameplay and got a little taste of what comes next Mirage with short teasers forNexusVR ANDCodename Jade. In case you missed it, that’s all that was announced during Ubisoft’s June 2023 Forward.

Avatar: Pandora’s Frontiers will be released on December 7th

The first trailer in history for Ubisofts Avatar: Pandora’s Frontiers showed our heroine Navi and her journey from being trained by the RDA to living on Pandora after being placed in cryosleep for 15 years following a seizure. Now that she’s awake and humans are back on Pandora, she tries to protect her home. This first-person single-player adventure, which will also include optional two-player co-op, will be released on December 7th.

The Crew Motorfest will drive to Oahu on September 14th

The latest addition to Ubisoft’s action-driving game franchise will this time take place on the Hawaiian island of Oahu, and players will be able to race cars from multiple manufacturers in different eras. Players can also import their crew car collections for free. A closed beta is scheduled for July 21-23, with more information to be announced at a later date.

We learned more about Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR AND Codename Jade

Ubisoft’s long-awaited VR title is almost here. You can play as Ezio, Kassandra, and Connor in VR on Meta Quest, though few other details have been announced. You can wishlist the game now before the holiday 2023 release window. Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade, the upcoming mobile game based in China, also got a first look. Users can now sign up for the closed beta.

Ubisoft has delved into the story of our hero, Basim, and his journey through Baghdad Mirage from Assassin’s Creed. It also showcased the gameplay, which featured more traditional stealth-focused combat. The company is looking to bring the franchise back to its roots, so we’ll see what that fully means when the game releases on October 12th.

First star Wars: Outlawsgameplay, Kay is a scoundrel, flies on ships

The open world Star Wars: Outlaws was revealed at the Xbox showcase yesterday, but Ubisoft showed an in-depth look at the gameplay and revealed the story. Kay Vess becomes one of the most wanted outlaws in the galaxy and faces a dangerous heist to get rid of her bounty on her head. You can also accept contracts and face the Empire. Ubisoft showed off a wide range of gameplay, with Kay using stealth to complete a mission and then moving to her ship for space combat. The game will be released next year.

• Ubisoft says it hopes xDefiant may launch later this summer, but will first hold an open session June 21-23 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
